Sunmount DDSO 10 Tamarack, RIT 1 Interior Painting Project

Background
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified contractors to undertake the Interior Painting Project at Sunmount DDSO, located at 10 Tamarack, RIT 1. This procurement opportunity is specifically limited to New York State Small Businesses, including those certified as Minority or Woman Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB).

The goal of this contract is to provide professional interior painting services in a secure residential setting.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the preparation, priming, and painting of all interior surfaces of the 10 Tamarack residence. The scope of work includes:
- Patching and preparing all interior walls and ceilings;
- Priming all interior walls and ceilings;
- Preparing all interior trim and woodwork;
- Painting all interior walls, ceilings, and door frames/trim with two coats of paint in colors decided by OPWDD staff;
- Refinishing all interior trim and woodwork to match original finishes.

All work must adhere to OSHA standards, with debris cleaned up daily. The contractor must ensure that all furnishings are protected during the project and that no materials or equipment are left unsecured. The project requires compliance with NYS Public Works regulations, including payment of prevailing wages and submission of certified payrolls upon completion. The contractor must provide Certificate of Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation Insurance.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for one year, with work to be completed within 30 days of award unless modified.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Sunmount DDSO, located at 2445 State Route 30, Tupper Lake, NY 12986.
