Background
The Town of Greenwich is seeking proposals from engineering firms for structural engineering services related to a New York State Housing and Community Renewal (NYS HCR) funded housing project. The consultant will evaluate the structural stability of single and multi-family residential properties undergoing rehabilitation. Key tasks include assessing the structural integrity of the properties, preparing a written report detailing recommendations for stabilization, and incorporating input from the Washington County Building Codes Department. The Town anticipates assisting up to 10 properties with this project; however, it is currently unknown how many will require structural engineering services.
