Background
The City of Saratoga Springs, New York, is seeking proposals for the replacement of the current steam boiler located at the City’s Water Treatment Plant. The current model in place is a Weil McClain Steam boiler.
Work Details
The scope of work includes removing the old boiler from the basement, bringing in a new boiler, removing older controls, assembling and installing the new boiler and control trim kit, piping as needed, rewiring both line voltage and control side, replacing all venting at boilers, starting the boiler and skimming, and testing overall operation.
The preferred model for replacement is LGB-13 with all safety and operating controls type CSD-1 rating. The replacement should include all parts needed for the replacement in the final bid price.
