Spring 2026 Loading Dock Alterations SU DDSO

Background
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Contract Management Unit, Design and Construction, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Spring 2026 Loading Dock Alterations at 2445 State Route 30, Building 12, Tupper Lake, NY 12986.

The goal of this contract is to perform necessary construction work to enhance the loading dock facilities at the specified location.

Work Details
The project involves alterations to the loading dock as detailed in the Project Manual and Drawings. Contractors must familiarize themselves with all specifications and requirements outlined in the Project Manual.

The work is classified as a Wicks Exempt Project, meaning that certain bidding requirements may differ from standard projects. Bidders are encouraged to attend pre-bid site visits scheduled for September 9 and September 16, 2025, to assess existing conditions.

Period of Performance
The commencement and completion of work will be determined per the Specifications outlined in Section 011000 Summary of Work. The bid opening is scheduled for October 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at 2445 State Route 30, Building 12, Tupper Lake, NY 12986, located in Franklin County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security deposit of $10,900 and submit a completed form DCA-3 – Offeror Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations with their bid. All contractors must register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i prior to bidding.

There are no set-aside goals for Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) for this contract.
