Background
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ 515658,1) for a requirement contract focused on maintenance painting services for apartments located in the Pomonok Houses within the Queens-Staten Island Neighborhood (QS02).
This initiative aims to enhance the living conditions of residents by ensuring that apartment interiors are well-maintained through regular painting services.
The contract is part of a series of contracts intended to cover multiple developments across NYCHA's portfolio.

Work Details
The contractor will provide maintenance painting services for various types of apartments within the Pomonok Houses.
The specific requirements include:
- Painting of 3-room apartments with a total of 21 units, utilizing a specified coat paint system.
- Painting of 4-room apartments with a total of 33 units, utilizing a specified coat paint system.
- Painting of 5-room apartments with a total of 6 units, utilizing a specified coat paint system.
- Additional work includes painting for 2-room and 3-room apartments across different unit counts, all requiring the same coat paint system.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for three (3) years, with an option for NYCHA to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional one-year renewals at its sole discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Pomonok Houses located in Queens, New York.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must pre-qualify as an 'Approved Supplier' via the NYCHA-Paint Pre-Qualification List (PQL) and must appear on the active approved vendor list.
Additionally, bidders are required to comply with Section 3 requirements related to hiring Authority residents as apprentices based on contract value.
Bidders must also submit M/WBE Utilization Plans and Waivers via eComply and participate in NYCHA's MWBE Utilization Plan.
