SMD_Services_IDIQ Contract for Pump Repair and Replacement Citywide w/MN Focus

Background
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is seeking contractors for the SMD_Services_IDIQ Contract for Pump Repair and Replacement Citywide, focusing on Manhattan. The contract aims to ensure efficient repair and replacement services for pumps across various locations within the city, enhancing the operational capabilities of NYCHA's facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services related to pump repair and replacement, including but not limited to:
- Steamfitter labor at an hourly rate for both regular and overtime hours.
- Electrician services during regular business hours and emergency response.
- Laborer services for general tasks.
- Plumber services during regular hours and emergency response situations.
- Service fitter labor for plumbing tasks.
- Welder services during both regular and emergency situations.

The contract includes provisions for additional response rates for non-emergency and emergency situations, as well as material costs plus administrative fees.

Period of Performance
The contract term is three years from the award date on NYCHA's Purchase Order, with an option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods at NYCHA's discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed citywide, specifically focusing on locations within Manhattan.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor as per Article 8, Section 220-i of the New York State Labor Law. Additionally, bidders must be approved on NYCHA's Plumbing Services Pre-Qualification List (PQL) prior to the bid closing date. The contract is not subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Bidders are required to submit Section 3 REO & OEO Plans and M/WBE Utilization Plans via eComply.
