Background
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the installation of vinyl composition (V/C) floor tile in apartments located in the Latimer Consolidated development, situated in the Queens-Staten Island neighborhood (QS02).

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the installation of V/C floor tiles in both move-out and occupied apartments. Specific tasks include:
1. Installation of V/C floor tiles in move-out apartments, with quantities specified as follows:
- 21 installations for 2-room apartments
- 36 installations for 3-room apartments
- 60 installations for 4-room apartments
- 33 installations for 5-room apartments
2. Installation of V/C floor tiles in occupied apartments, with quantities specified as follows:
- 6 installations for 2-room apartments
- 6 installations for 3-room apartments
- 11 installations for 4-room apartments
- 6 installations for 5-room apartments
3. Removal of non-asbestos containing floor coverings, including but not limited to vinyl composition floor tile, linoleum, self-adhesive floor tile, carpet, ceramic floor tile, and wood flooring from unoccupied apartments (17,550 square feet).
4. Removal and replacement of vinyl cove base in complete individual rooms and/or areas within an apartment (30 linear feet).
Period of Performance
The contract term is set for three years from the award date established on NYCHA's Blanket Purchase Order or upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed Order. NYCHA reserves the right to extend this contract with up to two additional one-year renewal periods.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Latimer Gardens located in Queens, New York.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor pursuant to Article 8, Section 220-i of the New York State Labor Law. Additionally, bidders must pre-qualify as an 'Approved Supplier' via NYCHA's Tile Pre-Qualification List (PQL) and appear on the active approved vendor list. Bidders are required to submit Section 3 Resident Economic Opportunity Plans via eComply by the bid submission deadline.
