Background
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the rehabilitation, maintenance, and service of elevators at Rutgers and Straus Houses.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of elevator systems within these housing complexes, which are essential for resident mobility and accessibility.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive elevator rehabilitation, maintenance, and service. This includes but is not limited to: routine inspections, repairs, emergency services, parts replacement, and necessary upgrades to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
The specific services required will be outlined in the attached specifications and drawings related to RFQ #514586.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and will continue as specified in the final agreement.
The bid submission deadline has been extended to September 12, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Rutgers and Straus Houses located in New York City.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must confirm their status as a Minority Women Small Business Enterprise (MWSBE) if applicable. They are required to have valid insurance, necessary licenses, and relevant experience.
Additionally, bidders must complete all required documents including the Bid Proposal Face Sheet and provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check made payable to NYCHA.
