Sale and Removal of Surplus Miscellaneous IT Equipment and Multi-Function Printers

Background
Nassau Community College, a unit of The State University of New York sponsored by Nassau County, is issuing an invitation to submit sealed bids for the sale and removal of surplus miscellaneous IT equipment and multi-function printers. The goal of this contract is to dispose of surplus items in a manner that maximizes value for the College while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Work Details
The contract involves the sale and removal of various surplus IT equipment and multi-function printers. The items include:

1. Miscellaneous IT Equipment:
- Wires
- Power cords
- LED TV Monitors (Samsung, Sharp)
- Security cameras and routers (Cisco, Aruba Networks)
- Various models of laptops (Lenovo, Dell) totaling 180 units
- Computers (HP Compaq Elite series)
- Scanners (Fujitsu)
- Projectors (3M, Epson)

2. Multi-Function Printers:
- Hewlett Packard models including HP LaserJet 5550dtn and HP CP6015X-Color
- Konica-Minolta models including various configurations of model 368.

The successful bidder must ensure safe removal without assistance from College employees or use of College equipment. All expenses related to removal will be the bidder's responsibility.

Period of Performance
The period for removing the equipment shall not exceed ten (10) business days from the date of the Bill of Sale, which will be executed within 10 business days following the bid opening on June 29, 2026.

Place of Performance
The equipment is located at Nassau Community College, One Education Drive, Garden City, NY 11530.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit their bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked with their name and address, bid number B26-031, title, and bid opening date. Bids must be signed in ink; photocopied signatures will not be accepted. Payment must be made via certified check or money order before any equipment can be removed from College property.
