Roof Replacement(s) at Onanda Park

Background
The Town of Canandaigua is seeking proposals for complete roof replacements on two buildings located at Onanda Park, specifically the Rotary Pavilion and the Game Room. The project aims to enhance the facilities within the park, situated at 4965 County Road 16, Canandaigua, NY 14424. The Town's mission includes maintaining and improving public spaces for community use.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for complete roof replacements on the following buildings:
- Rotary Pavilion: Specific location and approximate square footage are provided in an attachment.
- Game Room: Specific location and approximate square footage are provided in an attachment.

Key job requirements include:
- All work must be completed between September 2, 2025, and May 1, 2026.
- Prevailing wage rates will apply.
- The contractor must perform a tear-off of both roofs.
- Replacement of any plywood must be included in the proposal with additional cost estimates if necessary.
- Complete clean-up and removal of all materials/debris associated with the project is required; a roll-off dumpster will be provided by the Town at no cost to the contractor.
- The contractor is responsible for repairs of any damages caused during the work.

Roof specifications include:
- Standing seam, concealed fastener roofing material of 26 gauge or thicker in hunter green or a similar color to match existing roofs in the park.
- Installation of ridge venting and drip edge is required.
- Underlayments such as ice and water shield or tar paper must be installed.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from September 2, 2025, to May 1, 2026.

The work will be performed at Onanda Park, located at 4965 County Road 16, Canandaigua, NY 14424.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of General Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, and Automobile Insurance. A Certificate of Insurance naming the Town as additionally insured is required. Bidders should also include background information about their firm, including client listings and references.
