Background
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking a contractor to replace the roof at Taconic DDSOO. The project is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 3/15/24 at the project site located at 49 Queen Anne Lane, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
Work Details
The vendor is required to remove the existing roof and replace it with a new one according to the scope of work and specifications for Asphalt Shingle Roofing Systems. The scope of work includes removing existing shingles down to original decking, replacing decking and fascia where necessary, installing ice and water shield, synthetic underlayment, drip edge, flashing, counterflashing, pipe boots, exhaust vents, starter shingles, ridge vent, and a new roof edge drainage system. The bid price should include all materials, labor, disposal of materials fees and site clean-up. The contractor must adhere to specific safety requirements and provide a one-year warranty on workmanship.
