Roof Replacement - Quarry Hill

Background
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is issuing a request for quotes for a roof replacement project at 19 Quarry Hill Road, Millerton, NY 12546. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing roofing system to ensure the integrity and safety of the facility. This project is part of a public works initiative governed by New York State labor laws.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Remove existing shingles down to original decking.
2. Replace decking and fascia (aluminum wrapped, color matched) where necessary with appropriate size and grade.
3. Install 6' of ice and water shield on eaves and 3' on rakes and valleys.
4. Install new synthetic underlayment, drip edge, flashing, counterflashing, pipe boots, exhaust vents, starter shingles, and 30-year architectural shingles, ridge vent, and chimney flashing.
5. All shingles to be installed with high wind nailing pattern.
6. Shingles shall be supplied in the color 'Charcoal'.

Each bid must include two parts:
A) Price for roof tear off and installation of the new roofing system;
B) Price per piece for installed materials such as fascia, aluminum wrapping, and plywood decking if they require replacement during the project.

Period of Performance
Work is to be completed within 45 days of award unless modified.

Bidder Requirements
