Background
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is soliciting quotes for the RIT 2 North Sidewalk Replacement Project at the Sunmount Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO). This project aims to replace existing sidewalks to enhance accessibility and safety on the campus. Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor and materials necessary for the replacement of sidewalks at 12 and 36 St. Lawrence on the RIT 2 Sunmount Main Campus. The scope of work includes:
- Removal of existing sidewalks and proper disposal of materials.
- Excavation to the required depth for new sidewalk installation.
- Preparation and compaction of subgrade.
- Installation of a minimum 6-inch deep subbase material.
- Installation of forms for sidewalks.
- Pouring concrete with a minimum thickness of 5 inches and a compressive strength of 5000 psi or better.
- Cutting control joints not exceeding 4 feet.
- Grading new areas meeting lawn areas with screened topsoil and seeding.
- Ensuring compliance with OPWDD Job Standards Section 033001 (Cast In Place Concrete).
- Site cleanup at the end of each workday.
- Scheduling quality control inspections upon completion.
The total area for sidewalk replacement is approximately 3500 square feet.
Period of Performance
Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified.
