RFQ - Appraisal Services (Dept of Economic Development and Planning)

Background
The Suffolk County Office of Central Procurement, on behalf of the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning, is seeking qualified entities to provide appraisal services.
Suffolk County, located on Long Island, has a population of approximately 1.5 million and covers an area of about 900 square miles.
The Department is responsible for the acquisition, disposition, and management of real property, requiring independent appraisal reports for various projects.

Work Details
The contractor will provide appraisal services including:
1. Preparation of appraisal reports adhering to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) standards and County requirements.
2. General Appraisal Services, Condemnation Appraisal Services, and Fixture Appraisal Services.
3. Development of an opinion of value and preparation of appraisal reports (Self-Contained, Summary Appraisal, or Restrictive Use).
4. Completion of services within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of an Authorization Letter from the County.
5. Conducting appraisals for acquisition, disposition, or management purposes and furnishing expert witness testimony if required.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in Suffolk County, New York.
