The selected consultant will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and ongoing support.

Background
The Michigan Street African American Heritage Corridor Commission, along with its sister anchor agencies, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to develop a robust IT infrastructure. This initiative aims to create an organizational network that facilitates seamless file sharing and data storage while supporting cloud integration services for secure access from any location. The selected consultant will be responsible for the complete project lifecycle, ensuring the infrastructure meets the needs of the Commission.

Work Details
The selected IT Consultant will provide the following services:

1. **Network Design and Implementation:** Develop a secure, scalable, and reliable organizational network; ensure seamless file sharing and data storage across multiple locations; accommodate growth in users, devices, and data.

2. **Integrations:** Integrate with current and future systems/software; consolidate web-based subscriptions/platforms; develop a system for event/ticketing/sales options with multiple user access levels; interface integrations with data import/export reporting abilities.

3. **Data Storage Solutions:** Implement efficient and secure file sharing systems; ensure redundancy and backup solutions; provide data encryption solutions compliant with relevant regulations.

4. **Cloud Integration Services:** Integrate cloud services for remote access; ensure security, scalability, and compliance of cloud infrastructure; implement hybrid cloud solutions as needed.

5. **Security and Compliance:** Implement robust security measures; ensure compliance with industry regulations; provide user authentication and access control solutions.

6. **Ongoing Support and Maintenance:** Provide ongoing support including troubleshooting and performance optimization; offer training for staff on the new system; provide a service-level agreement (SLA) outlining support details.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for 1 year, starting from December 2, 2024.
