Background
The City University of New York (CUNY) is seeking information on next-generation Student Success and Retention Platforms that support holistic student engagement, academic advising, and institutional performance. CUNY serves over 270,000 students across 25 campuses and aims to improve retention and graduation rates, strengthen cross-campus support coordination, and enable proactive, data-informed advising.

This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to inform a potential procurement process anticipated in the coming months.

Work Details
CUNY is looking for a scalable, secure, and accessible student success platform that integrates with various systems including Learning Management System (LMS): Brightspace; Student Information System (SIS): PeopleSoft/CUNYFirst; Degree Audit System: DegreeWorks; CRM & Communications Tools; and Analytics & Reporting Platforms: Power BI, Tableau. The platform should empower faculty, advisors, administrators, and students through role-specific interfaces and streamlined workflows.

Key functional areas include:
1. Faculty & Advisor Experience: Dashboard capabilities for advisors and faculty, real-time case management, alerts, academic tracking.
2. Early Alert & Case Management: Generation of early alerts (manual/automated), AI-driven risk indicators.
3. Student Analytics & Reporting: Tools for forecasting student success, custom dashboards.
4. Communication Tools: Support for email, SMS, push notifications; campaign automation.
5. Appointment Scheduling & Workflow Automation: Self-service scheduling features.
6. Accessibility & Mobile Experience: WCAG 2.2 compliance; mobile functionality.
7. System Integration: Capabilities with LMS and SIS; API availability.
