Background
The Town of Hempstead's Department of Engineering is requesting qualifications for On-Call Consulting Services for Surveying. The goal is to select firms that can provide these services on a task-specific basis, ensuring that the needs of the Town are met effectively.

Selected firms will enter into a Consulting Agreement for a two-year period, subject to Town Board approval.

Work Details
The consultant will provide On-Call Surveying Services, which may include:
- Property line and boundary line surveys.
- Topographical surveys.
- Construction stakeout and layout.
- Surveying and mapping for storm water drainage and roadway improvement projects.
- Condition surveys of storm water drainage structures, including obtaining related invert elevations.
- Preparation of various maps and charts.
- Miscellaneous surveying-related services as requested by the Commissioner of Engineering.

All work must be supervised by a licensed surveyor in New York State, adhering to the Town’s policies for contract documents and design standards.

Period of Performance
The contract term is 365 days from the date of award, with potential extensions based on performance and needs.

Services will be performed in unincorporated areas within the Town of Hempstead, specifically in Nassau County.
