Work Details
Contractors are required to provide demolition and abatement services for the following properties:

2. 255 First Street, Albany NY – Demolition with asbestos in place OR Abate per Report/Survey dated September 22, 2023, then demolition.
3. 267 Second Street, Albany NY – Demolition with asbestos in place OR Abate per Report/Survey dated February 19, 2026, then demolition.
The contractor must furnish labor, materials, tools, machines, equipment, testing, notifications and associated fees necessary for the removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACM). The work includes transportation of removed ACM to an approved disposal facility and scheduling air monitoring by a Land Bank approved company. All work must comply with applicable Federal, State and Local regulations governing asbestos abatement.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the Land Bank. If more than 60 days is required from contract signing for completion, a formal written request must be submitted.
Place of Performance
The work will be performed at three residential buildings located in the City of Albany, New York.
Bidder Requirements
Contractors must be legally licensed in New York State if required for trade or local municipality. They should demonstrate prior experience in rehabilitation or construction of housing with at least three relevant projects within the past five years.
