Replace OR Air Handler AHU-1 UH at Community Campus (30)

Scope of Work:
The contract work involves:

• Installation of a new chiller
• Installation of a temporary air handler
• Replacement of the existing air handler that serves the Operating Rooms
• Associated duct and piping work

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by the State University Construction Fund (SUCF).

Background:
This is a single bid project for the Community Campus (30), specifically addressing the replacement and installation of air handling equipment critical to the operation of the facility's Operating Rooms.

Contract Requirements:

• All bidders must demonstrate skill, experience, and financial qualifications as outlined in Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specifications.
• Subcontracting is allowed per Section 2.18 of the SUCF Agreement.
• Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hours after bid opening, as per Information for Bidders Section 8.
• Bidders are required to submit, within 48 hours of bid opening, either certification of their NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and a preliminary project schedule.

Instructions on Submission:

• Plans will be available after May 26, 2026, through Syracuse Blueprint (315-476-4084 & www.syracuseblueprint.com).
• A project walk-through is scheduled for June 2, 2026, at 10:00AM, meeting at the Community General Hospital. Please confirm the date/time with the Consultant.
