Background
The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for various sized rear loading dumpsters to support its mission of maintaining parks and recreational facilities. The goal of this contract is to procure 4-yard, 6-yard, and 8-yard rear loading dumpsters in blue or green colors to facilitate waste management across multiple locations.
Work Details
The contractor will provide the following rear loading dumpsters:
- 2 units of 4-yard dumpsters in green
- 1 unit of 4-yard dumpster in blue
- 15 units of 6-yard dumpsters in green
- 2 units of 6-yard dumpsters in blue
- 1 unit of 8-yard dumpster in blue.
All dumpsters must include a 77½ inch Trunnion Bar and fold-over plastic covers. Delivery locations and quantities are specified in Attachment 1.
Period of Performance
The contract will be executed upon award with specific delivery timelines outlined in the bid form, including guaranteed delivery days after receipt of order.
Place of Performance
Delivery will occur at various locations within Nassau and Suffolk counties as detailed in Attachment 1.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate good faith efforts to include MWBE/SDVOB vendors where subcontracting opportunities exist. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability Insurance with specified coverage limits, Workers’ Compensation Insurance, and registration with the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement prior to bidding.
