Queens College Magazine Printing

Background
Queens College of the City University of New York is seeking pricing from NYS certified MWBE and SDVOB printing vendors for the printing of Queens College Magazine, which serves as the alumni magazine. The goal of this contract is to ensure the production and delivery of the magazine on an as-needed basis, with a focus on supporting minority and women-owned businesses.

Work Details
The contractor will provide printing, binding, and delivery services for one issue of 'Queens Magazine', with specific requirements including:

- Quantity: 70,000 copies per issue, with overruns/underruns not exceeding ±4% for quantities up to 60,000 and ±3% for quantities over 60,000.

- Number of Pages: 40 pages self-cover; options for 36 - 48 pages.

- Folded Size: 8 ½” x 11”.

- Printing Method: sheet-fed offset only.

- Ink: 4-color process with satin aqueous coating on all pages.

- Stock: 100# gloss text or approved equal.

- Binding: cut, fold, stitch, trim.

- Delivery includes mailing services with data management and compliance with postal regulations. The contractor must also provide a physical color proof before mass printing and deliver all printed materials within 7 business days after approval.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract is one year with an option to renew for one additional year. The final files for the Winter 2025 issue must be submitted by December 13, 2024, and must be in mailboxes no later than February 7, 2025.

The contract will be performed at Queens College located at 65-30 Kissena Boulevard Flushing, NY 11367.
