Provide Congregate Recreation Pens, E -Block, Building 14

Background
The contract is issued by the Office of General Services (OGS) on behalf of the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.

The goal of the contract is to provide construction and electrical work for the Congregate Recreation Pens at the Wende Correctional Facility located in Alden, NY. Work Details
The project consists of two separate contracts: Construction Work (Project No. 47290-C) and Electrical Work (Project No. 47290-E).

The scope includes providing congregate recreation pens in E-Block, Building 14 at Wende Correctional Facility. The estimated cost for Construction Work is between $2,000,000 and $3,000,000, while Electrical Work is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000.

Bidders must provide a certified check or bid bond as security: $70,700 for Construction and $24,400 for Electrical. Successful bidders are required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the contract amount.

Period of Performance
The substantial completion date for this project is 540 days after the Agreement is approved by the Comptroller.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Wende Correctional Facility located at 3040 Wende Rd, Alden, NY 14004-9717.
