Professional Stage Labor Services at the Empire State Plaza & Convention Center

Work Requested:
The NYS Office of General Services (OGS) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide experienced, professional stage labor services for a variety of events sponsored by the OGS Office of Convention and Cultural Events (CCE). The required services include, but are not limited to:

• General Laborers
• Stage Crew Supervisors
• Stagehands
• Stage Riggers
• Skilled Lighting, Sound, and Video Technicians

All services will be performed at the Empire State Plaza (ESP) and the ESP Convention Center (ESPCC) located in Albany, NY.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by the NYS Office of General Services (OGS) on behalf of its Office of Convention and Cultural Events (CCE).

Background:
The OGS CCE regularly sponsors a variety of events at the Empire State Plaza and Convention Center, requiring professional stage labor services. Vendors who have been awarded similar contracts in the past five years include:

• American Concert & Entertainment Services, Inc. (ACES)
• Odeum Labor Services, LLC
• Tinc Productions, LLC

Contract Requirements:

• Bidders must be bona fide Professional Stage Services entities and have been in business for a minimum of two years.
• Temporary Service firms or brokers are not eligible to bid.
• There are no Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals for this contract (both set at 0.00%).

Instructions on Submission:

• Refer to Section 1.3 Key Events of the IFB document for all mandatory event deadlines.
• A mandatory site visit is scheduled for May 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
