Procure an Assessment Software Solution

Background
The State University of New York at Fredonia is seeking to procure an Assessment Software Solution to address significant needs for assessment software that fulfills program and accreditation requirements for its college department/programs. The goal is to ensure uniformity in the accreditation process across all key requirements.

SUNY Fredonia, a comprehensive public university founded in 1826, aims to develop an integrated and collaborative system for planning, assessment, and continuous improvement.

Work Details
The vendor will provide a software solution and any necessary professional services for implementation over a period of three years. The software must be an existing commercial package developed specifically for higher education and should meet the following specifications:

1) Support strategic college planning by tracking goal achievement across all academic areas;
2) Capture learning outcomes at various levels in concert with D2L Brightspace;
3) Support re-accreditation efforts with a document depository linked to MSCHE standards;
4) Capture and export data related to teaching, advising, faculty contributions, and research activities.

Additionally, the solution must meet WCAG 2.0 A & AA standards, provide robust integration with D2L Brightspace, offer ongoing client support, operate in a secure hosted environment with disaster recovery capabilities, ensure data encryption during transmission, and allow the College ownership of its data.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three years from the date of final execution of the contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at SUNY Fredonia located at 280 Central Ave., Fredonia, NY 14063.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate experience with higher education clients and provide references from at least three similar institutions. The vendor must have been in business for no less than three years and agree to abide by SUNY Contract and NYS laws. There are no set-aside certifications required for this procurement.
