Portable Toilet Rental for Air Show on July 4th weekend

Background
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking quotes for the rental and servicing of portable toilets at Jones Beach State Park during the 2026 Air Show, scheduled for the July 4th weekend. This initiative aims to ensure adequate sanitation facilities for attendees at this significant public event.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following units:

- 206 Standard Portable Toilets
- 16 Handicapped Accessible Units
- 1 Inclusive (Men's & Women's) Restroom Trailer (24')
- 1 ADA Restroom Trailer

The standard units must meet specific dimensions and features including height (88”), width (45”), depth (45”), and floor space (41” x 21”). The restroom trailers will include separate facilities for men and women, with a total of 2 stalls and 2 urinals on the men's side, and 5 stalls with double wash basins on the women's side. All units must be delivered by June 30, 2026, with servicing scheduled for July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Servicing includes waste removal, pressure washing, and replenishing supplies. The contractor is responsible for staging the toilets in designated areas as directed by park management.

Period of Performance
The contract period runs from June 30, 2026 (delivery of units) to July 7, 2026 (pickup of units), with servicing occurring on July 3rd, July 4th, and July 5th.

Place of Performance
Jones Beach State Park, located at 1000 Ocean Parkway, Wantagh, NY.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate good faith efforts to include MWBE/SDVOB vendors where subcontracting opportunities exist. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability Insurance with specified coverage limits and Workers’ Compensation Insurance. A Certificate of Registration must be submitted prior to bidding as per Labor Law Article 8.
