The Steuben County Department of Probation is seeking quotes for Polygraph Testing Services as part of their efforts to evaluate individuals involved in the criminal justice system, particularly those undergoing sex offender treatment. Work Details
The successful offeror will perform polygraph examinations on a per court process basis, specifically for new clients as part of their sex offender treatment evaluations. The examinations will also be conducted periodically based on the needs of the defendant's or probationer's case. The offeror must be certified to conduct these examinations and provide written evaluations of truthfulness based on the results. Reports must be formatted in a standard manner and sent electronically, ensuring confidentiality and security of all information gathered. Additionally, quotes are required for both standard polygraph exams and more detailed history polygraphs.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to commence upon signing by all parties and will last for one year, with the possibility of four one-year renewals subject to mutual consent.

Place of Performance
Polygraph examinations will be conducted at an office provided by Steuben County.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must be certified to conduct polygraph examinations. They are required to submit a signed Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate and a Hold Harmless Clause form with their quote. Additionally, they must comply with Steuben County's standard insurance requirements, which include minimum coverage limits for professional liability, auto liability, workers' compensation, and general liability.
