Background
The Northland Workforce Training Center (NWTC) is a public-private partnership under New York State's Buffalo Billion initiative, aimed at closing the skills gap in the local labor pool and creating economic opportunities for Western New Yorkers in advanced manufacturing and energy careers.

NWTC provides training programs through partnerships with educational institutions and focuses on evidence-based placement strategies to enhance employment outcomes for students and community members.

Work Details
The selected staffing/placement organization will enter into a revenue-sharing agreement with NWTC to provide placement services for current students, alumni, and over 5,000 community members annually. Services include:
- Skilled Based Assessments
- Resume Preparation Services
- Mock Interviewing Services
- Temporary and Temporary to Permanent Placement
- Direct Hire Placement
- Fulfillment of NWTC’s Contract Manufacturing Positions
- Placement services for referrals and job seekers seeking assistance from this location.

Additionally, the vendor must maintain a full-time onsite presence at NWTC located at 683 Northland Avenue, Buffalo, New York.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for 1 year with an option for annual renewal. Either party may discontinue the agreement with a 90-day written notice.

Bidder Requirements
There are no Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside requirements. There are Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goals of 15% and Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goals of 15%. No specific requirements for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business or Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting.
