Pittsford Pedestrian Sidewalk & Crosswalk Improvements

Background
The Town of Pittsford is issuing a solicitation for the Pittsford Pedestrian Sidewalk & Crosswalk Improvements project. This project aims to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility in the Town of Pittsford, New York, by improving sidewalks and crosswalks. The work site extends from Thornell Farm Park on SH 64 (Mendon Rd) to the Oak Meadow Trail intersection on Thornell Road. This is a Federal Aid Project that requires adherence to NYSDOT Standard Specifications.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for the completion of the project. The specific tasks include:

- Installation of approximately 3,500 linear feet of sidewalk;
- Installation of four ADA compliant curb ramps;
- Drainage improvements;
- Shoulder repairs.

The project must comply with NYSDOT Standard Specifications finalized on January 1, 2025.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be substantially completed by October 31, 2025, with final completion and readiness for payment by November 21, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in the Town of Pittsford, Monroe County, New York.

Bidder Requirements
There are no Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) set-asides for this contract. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 5% is established for this project. There are no Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) goals. Bidders must comply with EEO Employment goals: 5.3% Minority Employment Goal and 6.9% Women Employment Goal. All contractors must have an approved CCA-2 on file with NYSDOT prior to being awarded a contract.
