Pipe Crawler Inspection Unit

Background
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is seeking pricing quotes for a Pipe Crawler Inspection Unit under RQ24-021. Work Details
The contract requires the provision of a Pipe Trekker Crawler with the following specifications:
- Minimum pipe size of 6 inches
- Powered by battery and tether
- Equipped with pan/tilt camera capabilities
- Front and rear mounted cameras
- Camera zoom functionality
- Forward mounted lighting
- Interchangeable wheels for different pipe sizes and materials
- Wheel spacers
- Reporting software
- Ability to notate during inspection from the control unit
- Footage counter
- Waterproof design
- Minimum cable/tether length of 600 feet with a powered reel.

Period of Performance
The contract term is set for one year.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Region 8 covering counties including Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster, and Westchester.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with New York State regulations regarding minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBE) and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses (SDVOB).
