The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for a Driveway Replacement at our Pierce IRA located at 30 Pierce St, Webster, NY 14580. Contractor will be responsible to attend the mandatory site visit to take place on Monday, August 4, 2025 @ 10:00am to verify knowledge of the area for which service is being requested prior to bid submission. Bids will not be accepted before the site visit or from vendors that do not attend this site visit. Vendors may also be disqualified from bidding if they arrive late to the site visit.

This is a NYS public works project, and prevailing wages must be paid.

When submitting a bid to the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) for Article 8 public work contracts, bidders must provide their NYSDOL registration number in the designated space on the bid form and submit their Certificate of Registration. Failure to provide a valid and verifiable registration number from the NYSDOL Registry and Certificate of Registration at the time of bid submission will result in disqualification of the bid. NYSDOL estimates it may take approximately 3-4 weeks to review a registration application and issue a Certificate of Registration. Please take action promptly and register now to avoid any disruptions in your bidding process or project schedule.

Background
The Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office (DDSO) is soliciting bids for a driveway replacement project at the Pierce IRA located at 30 Pierce St, Webster, NY 14580. This project is part of the New York State public works initiative, which aims to ensure that facilities serving individuals with developmental disabilities are maintained and improved. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing driveway in accordance with specified design drawings and prevailing wage laws.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and materials necessary to complete the driveway replacement as per the architectural and engineered drawings by Patriot Design #3024-4056, dated 6/11/2025. The scope of work includes:

1. Furnishing materials and labor to complete the driveway replacement according to specifications.
2. Following all New York State Codes and OGS specifications.
3. Ensuring site cleanliness and securing all materials at the end of each workday.
4. Scheduling a quality control and assurance inspection with the Plant Superintendent upon completion of the work.
5. Work must be performed between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday, in an occupied home setting.

Period of Performance
The work is to be completed within 90 days of award unless modified. The contract term extends for thirty (30) days after completion of the project.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide their New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) registration number on the bid form along with a Certificate of Registration.
