Phase 2&3 Transfer Station Upgrades

Work Requested:
Qualified contractors are invited to submit proposals to complete the following work at the SRMT Transfer Station, located at 179 County Route 43, Fort Covington, NY:

• Supply and install a Pre-Engineered Metal Building on a concrete foundation
• Build out the interior space of the new structure
• Perform site clearing as required
• Expand the facility access road
• Complete other improvements as specified in the Proposal Documents

Who is Requesting:
The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) is soliciting these proposals through its Grants & Contracts Office.

Background:
This solicitation is for Phase 2 & 3 Transfer Station Upgrades, aimed at enhancing the SRMT Transfer Station facilities. All work is described in detail in the Proposal Documents, which are available through SRMT's Procore Construction Management platform.

Contract Requirements:
All proposals must comply with the following mandatory requirements:

• Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates
• Domestic Preference
• Proposal/Bid and Contract Security

Additionally, the following preferences will be considered:

• Native Preference
• Women Business Enterprises
• Veteran with Disabilities Business Enterprises
• Minority Business Enterprises
• Veterans Business Enterprises

Instructions on Submission:
Proposals must be submitted to the SRMT Grants & Contracts Office, located at the Ionkwakiohkwar ron Administration Building, 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way, Akwesasne, NY 13655. The deadline for submission is 3:30 p.m. (Local Time) on Thursday, May 28, 2026. Please note that there will be no public opening of proposals.

A Pre-Proposal/Bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the SRMT's Planning & Infrastructure Boardroom, 2817 State Rt 95, Bombay, NY. If necessary, a site visit will follow directly after the meeting.
