Pest Management Services at Green Haven Correctional Facility

Background
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYSDOCCS) is seeking quotes for pest management services at the Green Haven Correctional Facility. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive interior and exterior pest control and elimination services to maintain a safe and sanitary environment within the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services for the control and elimination of various arthropod and vertebrate pests, including but not limited to: roaches, ants, fleas, silverfish, spiders, bees, drain flies, flies, groundhogs, mice, rats, squirrels, and chipmunks.

Services include:
1. Routine Scheduled Inspections/Treatments:
- General service up to three times per week.
- After-hours service up to one time per week.
- Monthly exterior rodent station maintenance.
- Groundhog trapping up to four times annually.
2. Extra Services: Immediate removal of animals or infestations upon request with prior authorization.
3. Control Methods: Application of residual pesticides in specified areas and follow-up inspections as necessary. All pesticides must be registered with the EPA and comply with safety regulations.

Period of Performance
The term of the agreement will be from May 8, 2026, to May 7, 2027.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed on the property of the Green Haven Correctional Facility located at 594 Rt 216, Stormville, NY 12582.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) with a goal of 0% participation. Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) goals are set at 15% for MBE and 0% for WBE. Bidders must provide proof of liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, and disability benefits coverage prior to commencing work.
