Online Law Enforcement Psychological Testing and Evaluations for Trooper Candidates

Background
The New York State Police (NYSP) is seeking qualified vendors to provide online Law Enforcement Psychological Testing and Evaluations for Trooper candidates. The goal of this contract is to identify candidates who may not be suited for a career in law enforcement.

The NYSP intends to establish a five-year contract with the selected vendor.

Work Details
The contractor will provide online psychological testing and evaluations specifically designed for NYSP Trooper candidates. These evaluations aim to assess the psychological fitness of candidates for law enforcement roles, ensuring that only those suitable for such careers are selected.

The contractor must have experience in conducting psychological evaluations relevant to law enforcement and must adhere to all applicable standards and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for a period of five years, starting from January 1, 2025, subject to approval from the Office of the State Comptroller.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed across all counties in New York State.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with a 15% subcontracting goal for both minority-owned and women-owned businesses. There are no set-aside requirements for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses or disadvantaged-owned businesses.
