Area #3- Hazmat Training Area 2500 sq.ft.
- Excavate 4 of existing gravel and use in areas 1 and 2.
- Fine grade and compact.
- No subbase needed
Supply & Place:
- 5 compacted thickness of Binder
- 5 compacted thickness of Topper
No Seam Seal needed
Area #4- Flagpole- 2200 sq.ft.
- Excavate and remove 4 of existing gravel use to grade road & use
in areas 1 and 2.
- Fine grade and compact.

Area #5- Rear Parking- 9000 sq.ft.

Work to be completed between the hours of 7:00AM- 3:00PM.

Award will be made to one best price vendor, quotes must be all inclusive and without tax. Responsive bidders must include completed documents (Quote, Substitute W9, Appendix A, Procurement Lobbying Form and insurance documents). Vendor must accept a NYS issued Purchase Order for payment. The awardee will be provided proof of tax exemption.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the training grounds by improving the asphalt surfaces in various designated areas.
Work Details
The scope of work includes asphalt improvement in five specified areas:
1. **Junk Car Lot (7,000 sq.ft.)**:
- Excavate existing gravel area 10 inches and remove spoils.
- Add 6 inches of item 4 gravel, fine grade, and compact.
- Supply & place 0 inches compacted thickness of Binder and Topper.
- Seam seal for 100 linear feet.
2. **Water Mapping Prop (700 sq.ft.)**:
- Excavate existing topsoil area to a depth of 10 inches and remove spoils.
- Add 6 inches item 4 gravel, fine grade, and compact.
- Supply & place 5 inches compacted thickness of Binder and Topper.
- Seam seal for 40 linear feet.
3. **Hazmat Training Area (2,500 sq.ft.)**:
- Excavate 4 inches of existing gravel for reuse in Areas 1 and 2, fine grade, and compact without needing a subbase.
- Supply & place 5 inches compacted thickness of Binder and Topper with no seam seal required.
4. **Flagpole Area (2,200 sq.ft.)**:
- Excavate and remove 4 inches of existing gravel for reuse in Areas 1 and 2, fine grade, and compact without needing a subbase.
- Supply & place 5 inches compacted thickness of Binder and Topper with seam seal for 60 linear feet.
5. **Rear Parking (9,000 sq.ft.)**:
- Excavate and remove 4 inches of existing gravel for reuse in Areas 1 and 2, fine grade, and compact without needing a subbase.
- Supply & place 5 inches compacted thickness of Binder and Topper with no seam seal required.
Period of Performance
The work is to be completed during normal working hours from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the NYS Fire Academy Training Grounds located at 205 S Lhommedieu St., Montour Falls, NY 14865.
Bidder Requirements
