NC Supreme Court Elevator Rehabilitation & Modernization

Scope of Work:
The contract involves providing construction services for the rehabilitation and modernization of passenger elevators 3, 4, and 5 at the Nassau County Supreme Court, located at Supreme Court Drive, Mineola, NY 11501.

This solicitation is issued by the County of Nassau.

Background:
The County of Nassau is seeking sealed proposals for CONTRACT NO.: B90611-25G, pertaining to the NC Supreme Court Elevator Rehabilitation & Modernization project. The Notice to Proceed for this project is anticipated to be issued in the third quarter of 2026.

Contract Requirements:

• Bids must be accompanied by the required Bid Security.
• All questions regarding the contract must be submitted via email to Valiant Yeung, R.A. at vyeung@nassaucountyny.gov, no later than 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 19th, 2025.
• No oral interpretations of the Drawings, Specifications, or other Contract Documents will be provided. All requests for interpretation must be made in writing to the Commissioner. Responses will be issued in writing as addenda to all prospective bidders.
• A non-mandatory pre-bid site walk-through will be held at the Supreme Court Building on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interested parties should contact Joshua Neuman at jneuman@nassaucountyny.gov to schedule attendance.

Submission Instructions:

• Sealed proposals must be delivered to the office of the Clerk of the Nassau County Legislature, Room 117, Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building, 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola, New York.
• Bids will be accepted until 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026.
• Proposals must be accompanied by the required Bid Security, submitted separately.
• Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Meeting Room of the Nassau County Legislature at the specified time, and the contract will be awarded as soon as practicable thereafter.
