MWBE/SDVOB/SBC Landscaping Services for LIRR Substations

Requested Work:
The contractor is required to provide comprehensive landscaping services for LIRR Substations. The scope of work includes:

• Supplying all necessary labor, materials, transportation, permits, and equipment
• Cutting, removing, and trimming trees and other vegetation, including but not limited to bushes, brush, vines, ivy, poison ivy, weeds, and grass
• Removal of all trash and leaves, primarily from the outer limits of the properties maintained by the LIRR Substation Department

Background:
This is a Discretionary procurement opportunity. Only New York State Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs), and "Qualified" NY State Small Businesses are eligible for award.

Within the past five years, Elegant Lawns and Landscape, Inc. has been awarded an identical or substantially similar contract.
