Background
The Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Service Office (DDSO) is soliciting bids for a 5-year radon testing project at multiple locations across Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety of residents by monitoring radon levels in state-owned residential programs. This initiative aligns with OPWDD's commitment to maintaining a safe environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will perform radon testing at 111 various OPWDD group residences. The scope of work includes:
1. Conducting two tests per residence; the first test lasting no less than 48 hours followed immediately by a second test.
2. Averaging the final readings from both tests.
3. Testing locations must be from the lowest livable point in each home.
4. Providing results in a spreadsheet format both electronically and as a bound hard copy to the Finger Lakes DDSO Plant Superintendent upon completion of testing.
5. All labor and materials necessary for the completion of the work must be provided by the contractor in a professional manner according to the scope of work and any architectural drawings supplied.

Period of Performance
The work is to be completed within 30 days of contract award.

The contract will be performed at various locations in Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties.
