Background
Nassau Health Care Corporation is issuing a solicitation for a multi-year contract for motor vehicle maintenance, repair, supplies, parts, and equipment. The goal of this contract is to establish a reliable source for these services and products to support the operations of the Nassau University Medical Center.

Work Details
The contract includes the following services and products:
- Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
- Supply of parts and equipment necessary for vehicle maintenance.
- All bids must include delivery within doors unless otherwise specified.
- The successful bidder will be required to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, tools, instrumentation, parts, and accessories necessary to repair and restore the equipment to optimum operating condition.
- All repairs must comply with OSHA safety requirements.
- The contractor's personnel must be fully qualified and adhere to applicable electrical codes and safety requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for two years from the date of issuance, with the possibility of extending up to three additional years in one-year increments.

Services will be performed at Nassau University Medical Center located at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, New York 11554.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with the following requirements:
- Must be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) with a goal of 6% participation.
- Must meet Minority/Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) goals totaling 16%.
- Bidders are required to submit Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all materials supplied that may contain toxic substances.
- Insurance requirements include Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with minimum coverage of $1 million per occurrence and additional insurance policies as specified in the solicitation.
