Mold Remediation

Work Requested:
The Buffalo Public Schools (BPS) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to perform mold remediation services across approximately 70 district schools and facilities. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Executing remediation activities based on plans developed by a certified Mold Assessor for each specific project.
• Removing mold and mold-contaminated surfaces through selective demolition.
• Cleaning and/or treating affected areas as required.

Requesting Entity:
This solicitation is issued by the Buffalo Public Schools (BPS), Buffalo Board of Education, Bureau of Purchase.

Background:
This contract opportunity, identified as RFP 27-0627E5-006 (Opportunity ID: 2133113), is for mold remediation services at multiple BPS locations. There is no prior award of an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.

Contract Requirements:
All remediation work must adhere to the plans provided by a certified Mold Assessor for each project. The contractor is responsible for ensuring thorough removal, cleaning, and/or treatment of mold and contaminated surfaces.
