Metro - Lafayette Square Station Rehabilitation

The requested work involves the comprehensive rehabilitation of the existing inbound and outbound Light Rail stations at Lafayette Square. The scope of work includes:

- Demolition and disposal of the current steel structure and roof canopy
- Reconstruction of the steel structure and roof canopy
- Upgrading station amenities
- Resurfacing the existing concrete elevated platforms
- Installation of new screens, benches, railings, and pavement

This solicitation is issued by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA).

The contract is part of NFTA's ongoing efforts to improve the Lafayette Square Light Rail stations, ensuring enhanced safety, accessibility, and passenger experience.

Contract requirements specify that bid security must accompany each bid and must be at least ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted electronically via Surety2000 (www.surety2000.com) or delivered in an opaque sealed envelope to the NFTA.
