MBE / SDVOB Opportunity - Matco Electric Corporation

Scope of Work:
Matco Electric Corporation is seeking a qualified electrical testing contractor who is certified as either a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB). The contractor must provide NICET certified technicians to assist Matco electricians with the following services at Shawangunk Correctional Facility:

• Perform de-energized maintenance and testing on high and medium voltage electrical switchgear, switches, and transformers
• Conduct over-current relay testing
• Carry out cleaning and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment
• Demonstrate the ability to test medium voltage electrical equipment, analyze test results, and address any mitigating environmental conditions as needed

The opportunity is for electrical testing and maintenance services at Shawangunk Correctional Facility. Matco Electric Corporation is seeking to partner with a certified MBE or SDVOB contractor for this project.

Contract Requirements:

• The contractor must be either an MBE or SDVOB (not subcontracting out the work)
• Technicians must hold NICET certification
• SDVOB participation goal: 6.00%
• MBE participation goal: 15.00%
• WBE and DBE goals: 0.00%
