Maple Ridge Road Active Transportation Project

Work Requested:
The Village of Medina is seeking sealed bids for the Maple Ridge Road Active Transportation Project (PIN 4761.42; D040767). The scope of work includes:

• Providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the project as shown on the Plans and described in the Specifications.
• Construction of a sidewalk along NY Route 31A in the Village of Medina and Town of Shelby.
• Installation of a pedestrian bridge over Oak Orchard Creek.

Who is Requesting:
The Owner and contracting agency is the Village of Medina. The project site is located in the Town of Shelby, Orleans County, New York. Project limits extend from 200 feet east of the intersection of Maple Ridge Road (NY 31A) and S Main Street (NY 63) to 1900 feet east of the same intersection.

Background:
This is a Federal Aid Project. All work must comply with NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on January 1, 2026, as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation's website.

Contract Requirements:

• DBE goal for this project is 0%.
• There are no M/WBE goals for this project.
• EEO Employment goals are 5.3% Minority Employment and 6.9% Women Employment.
• Use of NYSDOT approved civil rights reporting software, Equitable Business Opportunities (EBO), is required. Access authorization to EBO can be found at: EBO Login Application.
• No residential or geographical restrictions apply to this project.
