Description

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: This is a request for the purposes of soliciting and procuring the services of an Managed Security Service provider (MSSP) to provide comprehensive cybersecurity monitoring services to support the MTA Cybersecurity program in maintaining the MTA Security posture across IT/OT environments. MSSP will be required to provide the following services over a period of 5 years with an option of 3 additional years for a total of possible 8 year duration.

24/7 Real-time L1 Monitoring

Incident Triage and Response

Hosting/Administration of SIEM Cloud Environment

Threat Intelligence services

Background
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking to procure the services of a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) to enhance its cybersecurity monitoring capabilities. The goal is to support the MTA Cybersecurity program in maintaining a robust security posture across both IT and OT environments. This procurement is part of MTA's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its operations.

Work Details
The MSSP will be required to provide comprehensive cybersecurity monitoring services, which include:
- 24/7 Real-time Level 1 Monitoring
- Incident Triage and Response
- Hosting and Administration of a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Cloud Environment
- Threat Intelligence Services.
The contract duration is for 5 years with an option for 3 additional years, totaling a possible 8-year engagement.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 5 years, with an option for an additional 3 years.

Place of Performance
The services will be provided across all counties in New York State.
