Legal Staffing Firms, RFQ

Background
Empire State Development (ESD) is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to pre-qualify temporary legal staffing firms to provide legal staff, including attorneys, paralegals, and administrative support.
The goal is to assist ESD with legal matters related to its projects and programs, particularly in commercial real estate transactions. ESD aims to promote a vigorous state economy and support diverse local economies through efficient use of resources.

Work Details
The selected firms will provide temporary legal staffing services, which may include:
- Providing qualified attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on an as-needed basis.
- Assisting ESD with reviewing leases, development agreements, and other project-related documents.
- Creating summaries and abstracts of legal documents.
- Conducting research and organizing documents and files.
ESD anticipates needing a team of approximately 3-5 temporary staff for about three months. Some work may be performed remotely, while certain tasks will require in-person attendance at ESD's mid-town Manhattan office.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to last approximately three months, starting from April 11, 2025.

Place of Performance
The primary location for the performance of this contract will be at ESD's office located at 655 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10017.
