The City of Troy is soliciting sealed proposals for administrative consultant services related to a New York Main Street program taking place in the North Troy neighborhood of Lansingburgh.
The NYMS program aims to assist communities with revitalization efforts by providing funds for mixed-use buildings and neighborhoods, fostering small business development, expanding affordable housing opportunities, and preserving historic buildings.
Work Details
The contractor will provide administrative assistance for the Lansingburgh Main Street Project, including:
- Reviewing program guidelines with selected participants
- Coordinating construction monitoring and site inspections
- Communicating with property owners
- Coordinating architectural and environmental services.
Specific tasks include assisting building owners in developing project scopes consistent with local/state codes, preparing design documents, and preparing environmental review documents. All work must be completed by November 2026 to meet grant requirements.
Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a term of one year, with all work required to be completed by November 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Minority and women-owned businesses are strongly encouraged to respond. The selected proposer must maintain various insurance coverages including commercial general liability, professional liability/errors & omissions insurance, workers compensation insurance as required by law, and comprehensive automobile liability coverage. Additionally, the contractor must not employ any elected or appointed official of the City or their immediate family members.
