Background
The New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (NYS OPWDD) is seeking to procure a kitchen renovation at the Bernard Fineson Developmental Disabilities Services Office (DDSO).
The goal of this contract is to enhance the kitchen facilities at the residential home located at 225-04 South Conduit Avenue, Laurelton, NY, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.
This project is classified as a NYS Public Works Project, which mandates adherence to prevailing wage laws.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all materials and labor necessary for a complete kitchen renovation, including but not limited to:
1. Verification of measurements and conditions prior to work commencement.
2. Installation of protective coverings during demolition.
3. Removal and installation of ceiling framing and 5/8" sheetrock.
4. Replacement of existing light fixtures with new LED high hats.
5. Replacement of electrical outlets, switches, and plates.
6. Removal of existing kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink, range hood, and other debris.
7. Inspection and testing of plumbing pipes for leaks; replacement as needed.
8. Installation of new flexible braided stainless-steel water supply lines.
9. Reinstallation and testing of kitchen appliances for proper operation.
10. Repairing walls and ceilings for painting; application of two coats of Benjamin Moore paint or equivalent.
11. Installation of under-cabinet LED lighting with independent switch.
12. Installation of Life Proof or equivalent vinyl floor planking over existing flooring.
13. Installation of new solid wood wall cabinets and base cabinets without particle board or veneer.
14. Installation of an 18-gauge stainless steel sink with gooseneck faucet and spray hose (no Glacier Bay products).
15. Installation of solid quartz countertops with a 4" backsplash.
16. Installation of ceramic tile from cabinet bottom to backsplash top, color chosen by TTL.
17. Caulking and sealing all penetrations and gaps in the kitchen area.
18. Supply and installation of a recirculating range hood.
19. Daily removal of debris from the site.

Period of Performance
The work must be completed within 14 days from the award date unless modifications are made.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Bernard Fineson DDSO located at 225-04 South Conduit Avenue, Laurelton, NY 11413.
