Background
The New York State Police (NYSP) is seeking to implement an Inventory Tracking System to enhance their inventory management capabilities. This initiative aims to provide a centralized inventory system for the statewide agency, improving the assignment and tracking of accountable items to employees, reducing paper-based processes, and enhancing reporting capabilities. The goal is to streamline operations and improve visibility into inventory levels across all locations.

Work Details
The contract involves developing a web-based Inventory Tracking System that will replace outdated paper-based processes and multiple Excel spreadsheets and Access databases currently in use. Key functionalities include:
- Centralized application for tracking inventory intake, issuance, disposal, and maintenance.
- Approval workflows for uniform/equipment requests to prevent over-ordering.
- Integration with NYSP Active Directory for user logins.
- Ability to upload existing tracking applications such as Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.
- Creation of individual profiles for members with detailed data fields.
- Real-time tracking of inventory using barcodes.
- Reporting capabilities including historical transactions, item details, and alerts for stock levels.
- Fleet management functionalities including maintenance records and work order submissions.
- Firearm tracking capabilities including assignment/deployment records and maintenance logs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified timeframe that includes phases for development, testing, and deployment.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within New York State as required by the NYSP.

Bidder Requirements
