Inc. Village of Valley Stream Demolition of Mini Golf Course, Paving & Installation of four (4) Pickleball Courts at Arthur J. Hendrickson Park

Background
The Inc. Village of Valley Stream is seeking qualified contractors to provide demolition, paving, and installation of four (4) pickleball courts in the A.J. Hendrickson Park recreation area located at 123 West Merrick Road. This project aims to enhance recreational facilities within the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Demolition of the existing mini golf course at A.J. Hendrickson Park.
2. Paving of the designated areas for the new pickleball courts.
3. Installation of four (4) pickleball courts, ensuring compliance with relevant specifications and standards.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed from the award date until completion, with a specific timeline to be detailed in the proposal submissions.

Place of Performance
A.J. Hendrickson Park, 123 West Merrick Road, Valley Stream, NY 11580.

Bidder Requirements
Proposals must include a cover letter, a detailed project schedule, a detailed cost breakdown, a description of the Contractor’s experience and qualifications, and a copy of the Contractor’s license.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, or bid bond payable to the Inc. Village of Valley Stream in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the proposal.
The successful proposer must comply with New York State Prevailing Wages and provide all required bonds and insurance certificates within fifteen days of contract award.
