IFB #06012026JH Football Stadium Fiber Maintenance

Scope of Work:
The contractor is required to:

• Furnish and install replacement connectors on both ends of the fiber strands.
• Install new specialized couplers, cap assemblies, and strain relief/cable management bars.
• Relocate fiber bundles between racks at specified locations.
• Install new coupler panels or housings as needed.

The Broadcast Cabling fiber plant consists of 180 strands of single-mode fiber (SMM), routed between 14 locations in bundles of 6, 12, 18, 24, and 48 strands. Fiber termination points include equipment racks and JBT (Junction Box, Television) boxes located inside the Stadium, nearby Arena, and at exterior locations on the Stadium grounds. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and complete installation.

Requesting Organization:
This solicitation is issued by the State University of New York (SUNY), University at Albany.

Background:
This contract is for the maintenance and upgrade of the football stadium's fiber infrastructure. No business enterprises have been awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years.

Contract Requirements:

• Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) participation goal: 6.00%
• Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) participation goal: 15.00%
• Women Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goal: 15.00%
