Hvac And Geothermal Improvements For The North Salem Community Center

Background
The Town of North Salem, located in Westchester County, NY, is seeking proposals for HVAC and geothermal improvements at the North Salem Community Center located at 3 Owens Road.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's heating and cooling systems through the installation of a complete geothermal and heat pump system, which aligns with the town's commitment to improving community infrastructure.

Work Details
The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a complete geothermal and heat pump system.
This encompasses all manufactured equipment, piping, geothermal wells, ductwork, diffusers, and associated controls.
Additional tasks involve installing a utility-reinforced electrical service, dedicated switch gear, panel distribution to new mechanical equipment, testing, balancing, and commissioning of the new system.
The contractor must also prepare, restore, and clean the project area according to plans and specifications as directed by the Engineer.
Contractors are encouraged to propose alternative designs with detailed documentation outlining any changes along with supporting analyses or calculations.

Period of Performance
The contract term is approximately 4 months from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
